Setting Harvest Moon

The Harvest Moon begins to set during a very brief sunrise on Saturday. The light was soon masked by clouds out east. Luckily the bright foreground and setting moon were close to being the same intensity, allowing for proper exposure. The V-shaped break in the foreground mountains is Eldorado Canyon. While the dark background peaks are part of the Continental Divide. Taken in Beautiful Colorado
