Stunning work, and great use of a wide angle. It looks like a HDR merge but i could be wrong!

The exposure on this is perfect - completely realistic as details that would naturally be in the shadows and highlights are left there instead of being 'pushed' or 'pulled' out. The colours are strong (especially in the foreground) and the depth of field is simply incredible!

I noticed that you shot this at 11mm - what size of ND grads are you using? Or was this an HDR merge?

Thanks! At 10-12mm my p-filter would be in the frame and so I used two exposures... one for foreground and one for background. I manually merge them together with layers and do minimal editing to them.... I have tried the HDRmerge in PS - but thought the images looked unnatural and totally opposite of what actually existed... so its either grad-ND or manual merge in PS :)
