Definately well deserving of a DD...
I love the way this shot has a great depth, showing the icy water, the trees, the rocky mountaind and then the deep blue sky:)
There is a great contrast of the blues, greens, whites and browns,
and there is a lot of detail throughout;)

Beautiful capture:clap:

Man, that's gorgeous! I'm a sucker for photos of the Rockies, as well as long exposure water shots! This one combines the two beautifully! Well done

Atmostphere, lithosphere, biosphere, hyrdosphere... the essence of this planet, all so beautifully captured in this one piece.
I really feel this picture touching that place in my heart where everything is calm, and in motion, and so magnificent and infinite. I love this!

wonderful shot. Is the blue on the ice/water a result of the polarizer? Gotta love those ND's :D I dont know where I'd be without them

:iconyenom:

the polarizer wasnt at full strength so the water/snow still reflected much of its surroundings... namely the sky. THanks for the comment ;)
